Properties:

Pale yellow to grey yellow powder or pellet. Soluble in water, easy to the moisture, have pungent smell.

Application:

The selectivity of Sodium Ethyl Xanthate is the strongest in Xanthate series. But its collecting performance is weak.

It is widely useful on the differential flotation of easy-floating or complex sulfide minerals. Also, it can be used as precipitant in hydrometallurgical processes, as a vulcanization accelerator in rubber industry.
