White or translucence crystalline powder. Hard and brittle, Slightly bitter and Hygroscopic. Soluble in alcohol and glycerin, slowly dissolved in 30 parts cold water or 5 parts boiling water. Relative density is 2.46(crystal).Melting point 450ºC(crystal).
